If you’re looking for a beginner-friendly gym in Ottawa or just getting back into fitness, you’re not alone — and you don’t need to figure it out by yourself.

What Is the Ramp Up Program?

The Ramp Up program at OCFIT includes four private coaching sessions scheduled around your availability. You’ll work with a coach to learn:
  • The core functional movements used in our workouts (like squats, presses, and deadlifts)
  • How to move safely and efficiently
  • Modifications based on your goals, injuries, or fitness level
  • What to expect in class so you feel prepared, not overwhelmed
It’s not mandatory, but it’s strongly encouraged — especially if you’re new to CrossFit, returning from a break, or just want a better foundation before jumping into group training.
